All cars are compromises of one sort or another. Technology has created some awesome machines that weren't practical years ago. Passed a new Sirocco this am and, "Wow!" Its a cool ride. However, its $36,000.00., DIY is probably seriously compromised as are most moderncars, and the original 928 was lighter! Don't get me wrong. There are lots of neat cars out there, but I the 928 compromise is a heck of a great one that will outlive most.
