Well, it just came to me, with a good title, but no keys. I spent at least an hour pulling the helmet/seat lock, and the locksmiths (son) says, "hey, just the blank opens it". Well, it doesnt open the tank or on the ignition.

Yammie dealer sent me to this locksmith, and he has done old hondas and yammies for me before.

So, short of pulling off the fairing, and the lock, can I hotwire this bike? I read that some Yammies have a "double loop" antittheft or somesuch. I would just instal some switch and button if i could, just to ride this bike this mem. day weekend. Any help from experienced cycle guys appreciated.. can email me at tsnapcracklepop on yaho.

It is the improved 1983 model, dual discs.
