I'm both a fan of straight line racing, and turbo's, I've seen this page before and it's always good for a laugh! There is also a guy with a 10 second K car it has a similar build-up but it's gutted and ultra light.
Owning a tame looking Buick Regal with 630 horsepower I can tell you I've stomped on Vipers, Vettes and (a true blue aluminum bodied) 427 AC Cobra on the freeway. I even tangled with a Turbo Porsche once, I was ahead until the freeway bent and I had to slow down
that thing sounded great when he blew by.
I agree it's all about how much fun you can have with your "disposable" income level
