Hopefully it will have an impact on the Pens just as Talbot starting a fight against Philly did.

Malkin is a goon.

just kidding, he is not.... but it was dangerous him swinging that stick around at Zetterberg's head like an old woman swinging her purse at a mugger. Zetterberg could have been seriously hurt if that stick had hit him in the eyes or something.

It appeared that Malkin instigated by going after Zetterberg out of frustration and to "send a message" which is the intent of that rule, so if the NHL is going to have rules, then they should enforce them for everyone! Otherwise, get rid of the rule....

Regarding the bounces on the ice.... Ive seen quite a few games at the Joe and in June, typically when it warms up the ice gets a bit choppy and slow. I noticed several odd bounces in games 1 and 2 that may have been due to this, also several players stumbling and losing their edges faster than normal could have been due to the ice being slightly warmer and not quite as sharp. Toss in the boards and you have some funny bounces going around.
