Richard, the title is not current. It was issued back in 1994 andis made out to a person living in Florida. The car you are selling has a different seller whose name is not listed on the title and is currently living in Southern California. Therefore, I beg to differ. The title is not current. The title holder is not the same, and the location of the vehicle is not the same. furthermore, the car is not currently registered. Therefore, the title is not current. This is typical of your misrepresentations.

I have a dozen happy customers in the EU from buying P cars from me. I am very accommodating and courteous.
you started the rudeness and name calling, I only retorted back after the hang up and the insulting email, that you were a twit accusing me of trying to pull a fast one when in fact you were grossly mis-informed citing legalities of selling and how its done, how you all know about it that you have 12 cars and that I CAN'T show you what you already are an expert at ,... please the truth.
I will post the emails and the capture of the phone conversation, if you insist
that I lie and didnt play strait.
you overreacted, ruined a negotiation with rudeness and the funny stuff with the title I dont get and buy it, sorry!

Congrat's on all of your happy customers Richard. Perhaps a few of them will chime in here and speak for themselves rather than let you tell everyone how great you are for them.
I didn't hang up on you. There was nothing more to say. There was no need for you to continue to try to convince me that there was nothing wrong with the title when I know for a fact that there is - especially when I am the one paying long distance international calling rates. I want to buy a car with a clear title, and I am a serious buyer. The car does not have a clear title. If you were an honest seller, you would have told me in advance that the title was not in your name and that the buyers name had already been filled, both of which make the car unable to be retitled properly. Your friend Patrick who you are selling the car for, needs to get in touch with the person living in Florida whom the title was issued to by the Florida DMV, have him get a new copy of the title issued to him, with the buyers line blank so your friend can either retitle in CA in his own name, or skip title and write in the new buyers name. Anything else will not constitute a change of ownership and the buyer will be screwed.

more proof that you needed to bail, in an email, I offered to acquire the title to appease your fears, and asked if you were still a buyer, why still sack the deal??? negotiations need cool heads, baby!

The guy who I was buying the transmission from has more than 13,500 postings on the Pelican board and is a known and respected member of the early 911 community.
He is much more credible than you.
Additionally, a tranny does not need a title in order to transfer ownership.
As for being maxed out on sending money, I never said that. This is yet another example of your distorted misrepresentation of the truth. I clearly told you that I have an online bank account with B of A, and they set a $2000 per day limit on online transfers. Rather than send you $2000 per day over the course of a week, the more practical alternative was to pay it all at once as soon as the final details were cleared away. On the day I was arranging to make the complete transfer, I received the copy of the title. Sounds pretty reasonable now doesn't it?!
As for your comment about the tranny, the tranny was going to cost $2200. I paid a deposit of $500 wand planned to pay the rest in one daily transfer. The seller kindly gave me my money back when I told him the story about your car. That is more information than you deserve, but I think it is necessary that you understand how foolish your above statement about the tranny is.
As for giving you a deposit, I would have been willing to do so at the beginning, but would have wanted to see the title first. If you had sent over the copy of the title, I wouldn't have given you the deposit either.
As for cool heads, you have showed nothing but anger and uncoolness since our conversation yesterday when I confronted you about the bogus title.
Since then, you have gone on a personal witch hunt to try to portray me as a person "needing to bail", then as a crook trying to copy and use the bad title you sent me for the car you are selling o I could use it to somehow try to sell the car I have posted pictures of here. As I said before, this car was sold back in December which makes that accusation absurd on top of everything else you has misrepresented about our dealings.
And now here you are today lecturing me on keeping a cool head.
You are on some type of CSI witch hunt to prove that I was looking for a reason to bail out of the deal. The simple fact is I am unwilling to buy a car without clear title.
There is your smoking gun. A guy who won't allow himself to get pulled into an interstate legal mess over a $12000 car with a bad title.
You can believe what you want Richard. But those are the facts. Now does that seem so hard for you to understand?
