Shhhh, don't tell the TO guys that! They already think think they are at the centre of the universe...
I like TO and have worked there and have family just outside the city. I could rollerblade to the beaches from my brothers old house and downtown was a quick subway ride away.
The cottage country outside of TO is stunning and unique.
