Just to update this thread......problem diagnosed at Dealership as intake leak on cyl #2. Sure would have been easier to replace the gaskets while the engine was on the stand. So much for assuming they were OK.
Oh and if this was not enough, tech said that the valves could stand an adjustment as several are loose - so much for my first valve adjustment!
