Guys, I'll try to get around to pics...honest. So far, I've been having too much fun driving it, plus doing the personalization thing. It now has a spare tire, jack, lug wrench...all out of a wrecked '09 GT. $100. Bought a small batch of carry tools @ Sears. Spare front mats out of the wreck as well...they cleaned up well. spare is 17" steel wheel with a "donut" tire. Will clear the brakes, so should be able to carefully limp to a tire store should I get a cut tire. Yes, I have roadside service, but I do drive over mountain passes with no cell service. Just didn't like driving with no spare!
Yesterday, to Salem & back for pool playing. Cues & Cases fit well in both the rear seat and the trunk. Met up with another old car guy buddy...Marty "TTOD" Vomund. He still has the '58 Speedster (modified a bit) that earned the nickname.
We went out to dinner. 3 ride comfortably, as long as the passenger seat is forward.
DAEpperson, yes...it's a 5 speed, 3:73 ratio rear axle. Lower ratio than the GT mustang, which has 3:55. I also have limited slip. Quite a few added goodies other than looks to the "Bullitt" package. Track pack suspension, strut brace, different brake pads...the list goes on.
Note to self to watch the speedo...driving home last night, glanced down, 95!

I really had no plans to roll that fast.
The chase Vid...I've heard from a guy who ought to know, that 2 Mustangs were used in the movie. NASCAR type beefing on the suspension, stiffened frame, double shocks, etc. Far as I heard tho, the power was a stock 390 cubes engine. I could be wrong on that tho...the exhaust had to have been modded.
It's now in the garage, freshly waxed. Checked tire pressures...Ford dealership prep...found as much a 6 psi differences. All nice and even 33 cold now.
Last night was first night drive. I agree, HID lights worth the extra cost! Possibly even better vision than the H-1's on the old 911S.
Guess that's it...for now.
