Milt, I remember taking my son to see Cars when it first came out, and I enjoyed it quite a bit (likely more than he did at the time.)
He went to see Up with a schoolmate today and enjoyed it as well. I missed it, but I definitely plan to watch it myself as soon as I get a chance. These modern creations -- especially but not only the work of the Pixar team -- are by no means only for kids or even actually targeted exclusively at kids. Not many 7 year olds can drive themselves to the theater and fork-out $10 without mom or dad
