What, no miata option (which would be better than the 914 and GTI)? Cheap, reliable (bottom end from a turbo car similar to an SC), cheaper parts, lots of aftermarket support including factory support. You can purchase parts from Mazda's racing stuff if you've got 2 autoX under your belt, I think is the rule.
