Stuff happens. I always hated the window switches...especially when mine was stuck in the down position and it started pouring down rain. I spent the next 40 miles on the freeway getting a nice interior wind/rain shower until it finally decided to work again.
Thankfully kids are quick to forgive. But he'll remember this and use it against you many years in the future
