Taken this afternoon on the new Peak to Peak Gondola that connects Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. These gondolas are 1500 feet above the valley floor at the highest point, and run unsupported (without towers) for over 3 kilometers, making this the longest unsupported gondola ride in the world.
Very impressive piece of engineering.
