I had a '73 GT for awhile and really enjoyed it. Sorry to hear about the wheel falling off... glad no one was hurt... that had to be scary. Hope there's no expensive damage you haven't found yet. Kudos for being able to control it at over 60 MPH.

The paint looks great... would love to see more photos... and the turbo'd T-Bird engine is a great idea... and the cowl-induction hood, too. BTW, please post some interior shots, too.

I'm very old school with regards to wheel sizes, so those 17's or whatever they are just look wrong to me. Like it's wearing high heel shoes or something... reminds me of some of the wheels that "Overhaulin" show puts on beautiful classic cars of the 60's & 70's. It becomes the first thing you see when you look at the car... like like if some guy put chrome 20's on the original Bullitt Mustang.

Did you have any issues with fitment of the exhaust from the engine on back? The car was not super low, but I imagine it could have presented some problems. Have you relocated the battery? The orignal position out in the nose was a major negative design flaw to be sure.
