I just ordered 195/60HR15 Pirelli P6000 tires from the tirerack.com... $77 each + $28 for 2-day shipping... a pretty good deal.

I could not convince myself that the 205's would fit.. (I chickened out)... but the 195/60's will automatically lower the ride height by 1/2 an inch and with the lower profile maybe allow a tad more lowering later if I desire... and based on my research, there is a lot to be said for having a lower CG for improved handling.

Thanks Mikez for the lead on the 914 savvy alignment shop. They are close enough that I will give Steve Alarcon a call.
