In 10yrs i could buy another one and probably still be enough ahead to put a mid-rise lift in my garage.
You can look at cost per day, month, week, half hour, whatever you want but the number is still going to be a multiple of what a craftsman would be.
Not saying they aren't nice boxes but the prices are completely nutso and not based on anything tangible.
For every 'my $3k snap on box is still working 20yrs later' story there are probably 5 'my $300 craftsman box is still working 20yrs later'.
Folded sheet metal and ball bearings can not possibly cost that much to make. If i were to guess i'd say the price difference between a top of the line craftsman ball bearing box and a similarly sized snap on box is 10% materials/labor and 90% marketing.

Well i had #6 adjusted perfectly but then just before i tightened it a butterfly in Zimbabwe farted and now i have to start all over again!
I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.
