When I worked at the Rep. Nat. Committee, just after the whole building got email and Internet around 1996, a lot of folks forwarded things to EVERYONE. Haley Barbour's exec. dir. sent a sharply worded email around that this was to cease. A few days later a guy sent an email to EVERYONE titled "Do gentlemen really prefer blondes?" It was his own diatribe about blondes vs. brunettes. We immediately got replies from the counsel's office, all in red caps, telling us that no one was to respond to that email. Sender was escorted out the bldg. minutes later.
