I read somewhere (Yahoo News IIRC) that there was a dealer in either VA or NC who was selling Dodge Nitros at 40% below MSRP. These dealers that are closing need to liquidate their inventory, and given the way they were told to close shop have little or no loyalty to Chrysler.
Given the circumstances, you should be able to find some smokin' deals. On the other hand, hopefully you'll be able to find a dealer close enough to you which won't be closed down to make it worth the effort. Which brings up another point - servicing a new car at a dealership other than where you purchased it can be problematic - I've seen this first hand.
Having said that, I certainly wouldn't mind a Viper sitting in my driveway....
