Being "pro-environment" is nothing like being "pro-cute puppies" or such. That's a red-herring. And a weak one. There are entire industries and massively powerful lobbies w/ just about every GOP politician in the land in their pocket that are blatantly anti-environment, opposing any and all regulation of pollutants being released into public space as being "anti-business". What part of the air and water belonging to everyone do you not understand??

As for some Prius drivers being smug, I'm not sure how this has been so quickly discovered through the car windows of complete strangers. I can't tell a damn thing about strangers in other cars unless they are driving in a reckless/dangerous manner or blasting shytty music w/ their windows down.

Even if they are ALL smug, (quite a stretch), who gives a fuk? Are you gonna tell me that none of the fake tough-guys driving big trucks and carrying around guns on their belts in AZ. are "smug"? I'll bet they are. Who cares.

The fakest thing of all is to write-off environmental concerns of groups of people by simply assigning undesirable personality traits to its members that are all but completely made-up by the loyal opposition. It's the Rush Limbaugh school of discourse, where if you are loud and obnoxious enough, you can drown-out more rational voices and (attempt to) silence all dissent. You guys are pawns of corporate interests that would dump raw mercury in your well if it wasn't for those pesky liberal enviro-fags who "pretend" to care about the atmosphere.
