[Dueller]

I have a client whose neighbor shot her 8 y.o. Boxer with a shotgun. Dog apparently got out and was roaming neighborhood. Dog is sweet and lovable...no indication it has ever been agressive. Neighbor apparently claims it was acting agressive. Went and grabbed a shotgun and shot it from his yard in another neighbors yard. Blew half the dog's nose off. Dog survived but seems to be in a coma now. Under care of veterinary school docs.

This was in an upscale neighborhood and apparently the guy who shot the dog knew who the owner was/where they lived ( a few houses down).

Justifiable? Remedy?
