You get USED to the hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, wild animals, little snakes, gators, etc. as they are all common. Now those massive 3.0 earthquakes, they hardly (n)ever happen!!! That can scare a person ;-)
Grew up in Houston, saw most everything in the city limits. Back when we still did cattle ranches inside the loop. Man has it changed...
