Had the same thing happen to me a few times, gives me the urge to pull a "pit maneuver" on the idiot.
Nowadays I end up passing mostly on the right driving on 540 in Raleigh since it is usually moving faster then the middle or left.
Now about those vans with 30 ladders piled on the roof with bald tires, blown shocks/springs with a cement mixing barrell in tow swinging back and forth
