well i have arrived at a happy medium with my better half. she goes antiqueing and i go to gun stores. great excuse to fire up the 911 and go to payson/prescott/flagstaff. i drop her off, and off i go to gun stores. dont mind looking at antiques, but when you go to enough of them you soon realize not alot of turnover and you end up looking at the same items over and over. have found here that after about 3-4 months its worth taking another look as items have sold and new items have arrived,
and yes............I AM OLD and i do recall ALOT of items from my youth now.
have found quite a few really cool lionel train sets. tempting. but a stainless national match springfield M1-A has also been rolling around in the back of my mind also. mmmmmmmmm yummy!
