I think many folks who stay in the left lane are totally oblivious to the fact that they are not supposed to be there and are slowing traffic, seriously, I've seen them texting, eating, cell phone and whatever and when you pass them on the right they get all upset. I've also stopped blinking my lights as it does no good! They just don't seem to be aware of anything going on around them.
