I think that's what he thinks too, but the role of the servers (there are about 18 computers in there) change the whole equation. In his recommendation, I'd be pulling out 80-degree air. In my setup, we're pulling air that is about 65 degrees.

Yeah, I'm thinking closed-loop as in: the air in the room
IS the air you are pulling back in and re-cooling (just have a filter somewhere in the loop). Just like the forced-air (closed-loop) system you would have in your house.
