The distributor from the 200/8 MK II M115 isnīt a direct bolt in. You have to find the triggerplate with wireloom and the CD box.
They where also used in later 123 series cars with M115 engines but the distributor got enlarged with the now M 102 OHC engines in 1980.
Those kits where also sold by Bosch as seperate upgrades for several types from distributors. Sometimes you can find them NOs or used.
However a Lumetition or Petronix upgrade is at the same pricelevel then the used Bosch parts.
I donīt think you need to run the engine lean or have coldstarttrouble. When the engines get some more power squished out by higher compression you will need the extra sparkpower. The 912 combustionchamber has some lean spots to ignite.
