I've only driven the Camry on which the Venza's based, but I find Toyotas to be too squishy and numb. The steering is over-boosted and vague, they're nose-heavy and prone to instant understeer with lots of body roll and low cornering limits, and a squishy brake pedal that seems like it's going to fade. Then you can throw-in that Toyota cabins always have something goofy in the ergonomics department. I'd buy German: BMW, Benz, or VW/Audi (in that order). Like Lee Trevino used to pitch, "You can feel it when you drive." (BTW, Excellence Editor Pete Stout raves about Scooby-Doos and he's not Lebanese...).
