This is a case of a corporation not being a responsible citzen nor good neighbor. If these corporations want a seat at the table they need to be responsible citizens. There is nothing wrong with making a profit so long as you do not do it at the expense of the health of the people living around your facility. This type of thing is out and out criminal.
Man in general shytes where they eat, in the past one could just move on over the next hill and despoil that region. Now there are virtually no more hills to go over to despoil. So we are now confronted with the reality that one must keep it clean and pick up after themselves. For no amount of profit is going to ease the pain of poisoning yourself to death.
