Sluggo is Ferric-Phosphate. It disrupts the snails digestive system, the little pricks starve to death. The neat thing is sluggo breaks down into fertillizer in the garden.

Snails are attracted to the crap and it will kill them in droves.

80lbs? How big is your yard? That's A LOT of snails and slugs.

I bet that if you bought it by the ton you could get an even bigger discount.
