Don't mean to highjack this post, but my jump in is very relevant to this post for sure. I have a 1979 928 that someone has completely hacked/changed the entire exhaust run from the headers back. There is some sort of CUSTOM YPipe action, no cat, and 3 inch pipe all the way back to a very high flow spin tech muffler, and then about 24-30 inches of 3 inch pipe out of the muffler to the single dump behind the rear wheel. Now, my question for the pros is does this sound like a good idea for this type of setup? Is the 3 inch with single muffler no cat bettering the flow or creating issues? Seems to run good/strong but again this entire run is super custom/non std and for sure not anywhere near stock. Is 3 inch all the way through okay here??? I am willing to dive in and change it if this is wrong, but just want some opinions on what is there right now. Will be happy to post a bunch of underneath pics as I do have them, just do not have any with me right now to post. Will post tonight if need be. Feel free to reply with any and all feedback you have from the above info given so far...
