Small lathe for economy, not necessarily small work or precision.

I sold a SB, too worn. Have both a 7x12 and a 9x?? Grizzly.

I use the 9x grizzly, and bought the smaller one to demonstrate for HS students.

To answer Schumi, 7x12 would probably be marginal for suspension bushings, would need to measure from the top of the cross-slide to the center of chuck.

To All considering a Milling Machine or Lathe, the tooling will add up to alot of $$. Great used deals are when the seller throws in the tooling.
