Cool Story...and I'm hoping for the best. I mean, who knows? Roughly $800 worth of HP brand computer & printer left here tonight in the trunk of a friend's car. I bought it to use just as a word processor. The 6th time it made 2+ hours of typing go in a poof after it told me microsoft works was having a problem and that I "may" lose what I was working on? It was gone...even though I bought it 5 weeks ago. I don't think it's a problem with HP, but a software glitch from microsoft XP. It was never hooked to the internet, BTW. My old electronic typewriter has never been hooked to the net either...and it's still working perfectly. It will be, from now on, my writing instrument of choice for snail mail purposes. So, if I personally don't have a use for them, I'll toss things for free, hell yes, I will! Kurt? Hope it's a happy story for you, can't wait for your follow up post!
