a lot can be said about him, and a lot of it is highly debatable. But i doubt anybody can deny he did have talent in buckets... And yes he was probably nucking futs in the end, but then again:
The family
the young age for that amount of success and attention
The insane amounts of money
The screaming crowds, anywhere you go, any time of the day
The entourage
Medical issues

how many of those on the board here, would have dealt with it any better then he did?

And yes, the "children" issues... they are there...i doubt he was a pedophile , more likely he tried to get the childhood he never had, by hanging out with kids in a bit to cozy way for a grown up.. but probably not much different then how kids would have had sleepovers or whatnot.....i think the true guilty ones are those who allowed it to happen, those who never told him , "snap out of it, you are not a 8 year old anymore".
I'm not excusing him in any way, he was a dumbass in that respect...

Personally, i don't think i would have stayed sane either.. i would have self destructed well before the age of 50 if i had gone through the same kind of motions that he did...
