Set up an appt and go in and talk with the Dentist, and no one else.
Have him look at your mouth where you pulled the tooth to make sure all is ok.
Then have a "Come to Jesus" talk with him that when a patient has an emergency that the staff need to tell him IMMEDIATELY, and not "keep looking for an appt."
If he does not offer to work with you on an implant to fill the hole in your mouth you can ask him about the lawsuit for keeping you waiting so long that you had to pull the tooth yourself. Take photos of it right now and save the tooth. IMHO not a court in the country that would not side with you after this.
