But really Matt, if you are looking to make money on a car, a 944 is one of the last you should be looking at. Nice, comfy cars around town that shine on the track when pushed hard, but in the entire history of 944s, I don't think anyone has ever made $ on one.

That kid also got into a crash and seriously damaged it.
Just to give you an example, I bought an S2 about a year ago for $8300. It was somewhat-babied its whole life (137K miles) and had tasteful upgrades such as LSD, heated seats, koni's all the way around, etc. It also had the clutch and the waterpump replaced before as well as other miner things.
I would possible offer 8K.
