No question in my mind that if this is true, it's Kimi that gets the boot. He seemed to have retired once he got World Champion.
Alonso has made no secret where he's always really wanted to be. I don't know how his various teams have tolerated him. I don't think his temperament is good for F1 at all, and I expect him to experience "friction" no matter where he is--even in his dream job at Ferrari.
