For cycling I use Natives. REI sells them and although I think they probably are a bit overpriced, they're good quality and damn nearly indestructible. Very good for that kind of activity. If I ever dump my bike and the Oakleys go sailing, they're as good as gone and I'm out $250. These will not come off - they're specifically for athletics and made of flexible materials. Maybe something to look at.
They did stand by their warranty too when I succeeded in actually breaking one of the frames a couple years ago (got stepped on). Their web site comes off as very fly-by-night-ish and "scam-artisty" (they avoid putting phone numbers and addresses, which always is a red flag) but they're legit.
