'82 911 Power Window Odd E Gremlin
Hey Everyone!!!
Ok, straight to businesses, I am sure you've heard enough electrical stories.
It's a '82 911SC Coupe
This is where I am a bit lost:
Both windows work fine from the drivers side switches.
The passenger window does not go up with the passenger switch. But does go down.
Tried the working switch from the drivers side, same outcome.
Tried every other relay in the power windows spot, its the third one is counting from the rear of the car right? All the relays are the same(black round ones) except the red one obviously?
The funny thing is that, the PO had a 8 AMP fuse in, it would work with driver's switches, but would blow right of way when pass side switched was used to wind the glass down. I used a 16 AMP fuse that blew too. Last I think I had a 20 AMP or something it would not blow right of way, only if you hold the switch down for a few seconds. Its supposed to be a 25 AMP fuse correct?
Is there a handy diagram off all the proper ratings for fuses. So I wont have to go through all the wiring diagrams?
Of course I could just forget all of this, because it is just the passenger side switch. Instruct the passenger not to touch that switch and keep a few fuses in the car. But I do want to fix it...
Thank you very much guys!!!
