I have a 1st gen Scion Xb and love it! The thing gets 32 mpg, is great for lugging the dogs around, and was ultra-cheap to buy! The thing has had zero problems and, it just so happens, I like the boxy look! I looked at the Element but it was more expensive and I didn't feel the bigger engine felt any better than the Xb's tiny 4 cylinder. I did like the fact you could hose out the interior though!
