I came across a 1979 930 project car Motor and transmission were taking out of the car 5-10 years ago for a full respray to another color. The car never got past primer.
So currently the car is in primer, engine+trans ( out of car) , never accidented ect.. , motor supposed to be good but who know after all these years . Lots of unknowns with this car but I am still tempted to make a offer on it.
There asking $14500. I was thinking $10-11000.
I still dont know if all the work will be worth it in the end and it might just be easier to buy a nice clean 930 . I just sold my 993 since after almost 2 years with it, I did not connect with it AT ALL.... I see 993's in the street now and I cringe
