I have a 3GS and the service has been acceptable. About the same number of dropped calls as Sprint.

I bought (4) iphones when the S came out. (2) worked before I left the store and (2) required tech support to get them going.

Love the iphone but do have a wish list for my next one.

1. Needs a camera flash.
2. Needs to allow flash video players.
3. Needs a MS Office editing function like most of the other phones.
4. Needs to be louder so us old guys can hear the other person on the phone.
5. Needs better battery management software.
6. The compass needs to be able to work next to an automotive compass.
