Some good points here. I thought I had narrowed my search down to the Pre and iPhone, but I will give the Pro a look. I saw an advertisement for it today and it might do the trick.

I am not currently with AT&T but I am not under contract to anyone and can switch whereever I want. So either staying with Sprint and getting a Pro or Pre is an option, or I can switch to AT&T and get an iPhone. The keyboard issue concerns me, but I don't have an iPod, so an iPhone would be killing two birds with one stone.

I guess the question is whether there is anything the pre does better than the iPhone, and what does the iPhone do better than the Pre? I do read a lot of PDF documents on my phone, so the larger iPhoen screen would be an advantage.
