+1 on the 8th air force museum - pretty cool stuff. Also, run over the Talmadge bridge into South Carolina and run over to Beaufort, SC (about 45 minutes). Lots of cool old pre-civil war plantation era homes on The Point over looking the intercoastal waterway (where The Big Chill was filmed). I used to live there and it is a cool litlle historical town to spend an afternoon in.
