Yes I put it there to keep the flow from the foglight hole to the oil cooler as clear as possible, just needed 1 spacer at the top and a small dent in the back of the headlight bowl to get it all to fit.
I have only ever used it 2 or 3 times when stuck in traffic and it manages to stop temps rising when standing still/hardly moving but it wont bring the temp down by much at all.
Sod all use on track as there is more air going through the cooler after all the ducting/sealing mods than the fan could ever generate.
I'd deffo be checking your 2nd cooler is getting as hot as the primary one and are you sure you got matched gauge and sender - worth a double check with an infra red thermometer as you might be chasing a problem that doesn't exist.
