I was at the rally too. Saw a few parked R1100S's but never anyone standing around them. This was my first MOA Rally. Overall it was pretty cool but the riding was better. Spent the week before the rally riding around WV, VA, KY, TN and NC. You guys down that way are lucky for sure. I'd call it the Gorge tour as we visited, New River Gorge, Nantahala River Gorge and Cullasaja River Gorge. Also took my brother from Seattle down to see the chaos that is the Dragon. Got one run in before his rented 1200GS blew up on us. No idea what it was but it was mechanical and didn't sound pretty! Anyway, amazing areas and roads. I'll have to go again when the traffic is lighter. A pic from the campsite and a cool motorcycle fanatic we met named Rick who lives on 129 just north of the Dragon. He helped us get the bike off the Dragon and back to his place.
