Erik Scharinger [sp?] or "Hacher Pschorr" over at the RL has an excellent post regarding zinc. Apparently, if an oil is later than SJ [I think that is right], then it has not enough zinc and eventually your bearings will suffer.
Me? I'll continue to put Castrol in it. I suspect that 10 years from now, I'll still own the same car with the same bearings and the same brand of oil in the sump-
