I wonder just how much he had to do with that. Granted he prolly did use the device but do any of you really think he came up with it?
The conversation most likely went like this:
MJ: "I want to...to...lean out and seem like I can almost...touch them...
Bush & Tompkins (the real inventors): "OK sir, so how about we design a sort of device that would be fixed on the stage flooring and you would slide your heel into it and it would keep it in place thus allowing you to lean forward and appear to defy gravity?"
MJ: "Yes...anything that requires me to slide I like. I like the stage as well. I also like to do things that no one else can do so this is very nice...yes...very sweet.
Bush & Tompkins (the real inventors): "We shall get right on it sir!"
MJ: "Yes yes...please do. Speaking of getting on things, has anyone seen...
