Around here, a Corvette was the choice of the shop rat that worked enough OT to afford one. Back when times were good, you could see many in a GM shop lot.
I think Denis' statement reads pretty true. I bought my 911 for me, not because I give a shat about what others think.
I have not had a bad experience with a Corvette owner. I like most all cars and enjoy talking cars with pretty much anyone.
