6 x 10 jack rafters, 8 x 10 hip on a 30 degree angle which makes for 2 different roof pitches and different rafter spacing on opposites. If was a good exercise in carpentry.
The rafters are covered in both directions with 2 x 3 rough fir. On top of those are smoke Lexan panels. To the left of the fan and against the house wall, the whole roof articulates like a 20 foot long opening skylight to let summer heat out.
The rolled shades deploy during the summer to block out direct sunlight.
I built the room for the cat.
