I've found in the last year or so of carrying concealed that the size of the pistol is a more important factor (for me) than the size of the cartridge. I'm 6'1" and 185lbs and it's tough to conceal a large pistol. The Sig P239 is the largest pistol I think I could conceal and still wear comfortably. I holster cross-draw style with a DeSantis IWB and the Sig starts getting heavy after a few hours. If you really want to carry concealed, try it for awhile and you'll see what I mean!
