While looking around on the new S for ideas on how to mount a GPS, I noticed that the screw holes that hold the mirrors onto the bike almost match perfectly with the RAM mount base holes.
The following is a really quick pass with the grinder wheel to make the base fit into the indentation of the fairing. I'll go back and refine the grinding, then hit it with some paint.
This should keep the cheap GPS out of the elements, and somewhat hidden.
As it is now, the RAM arm that I have is too long; the bars hit at full lock - I'll need to order the short version.
